When I took the babies to the dentist she noticed that Jane's mouth was shaped differently. Pacifiers can change the roof of the mouth and push the teeth forward. I noticed today that she has an overbite. I need to do what I can.
Tonight is the night to cut out the pacifiers.
Hard on momma. Hard on Jane. Levi took it ok.

Yucky
Levi went in for surgery this past Tuesday. He had ear tubes placed and his adenoids removed. The doctor said everything went fine. His adenoids were very large which was most likely obstructing his Eustachian tubes causing the ear infections and blocking his airway making him prone to mouth breathing. So I am glad he had it done.
That being said, it is horrible having to watch the aftermath of this surgery. His nose is constantly running, making his face red and sore. He isn't able to breathe well so is not sleeping much making him super tired and cranky. He can't even suck on his paci so he just snuggles it in bed. He breathes through his mouth constantly making him drool even more (like having 6 teeth come through at the same time isn't bad enough.) I can't get him to eat much of anything except apple sauce and Malt-O-Meal. He only wants to drink milk and his heart truly breaks when his cup runs empty. He has foul breath from the scar tissue forming from the adenoids removal and is running a low-grade fever to boot. So let's add that all up. . . .
1. Runny nose
2. Sore face
3. Can't sleep
4. Can't use paci
5. Mouth-breathing
6. Drool
7. SIX new teeth
8. Bad breath
9. Not eating much
10. Too much milk causes him bad constipation
11. Fever
12. There has got to be at least some discomfort
13. He has to get drops in his ears twice a day which he hates
I want to cry think about my poor, miserable baby. Most of today he spent in my lap or in my arms. He is doing really well despite all that is wrong. I am praying this all passes quickly.
